The PEI Responsible Investment Forum 10th June 2010 | London
This forum is co-hosted by Private Equity International (PEI) and the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), an investor initiative in partnership with UNEP Finance Initiative and the UN Global Compact. The first of its kind, the forum will tackle one of the most important themes in private equity today: how to create value by following environmental, social and governance (ESG) best practice in investment strategies.

An audience survey at the Private Equity International CFO & COO Forum in London last October revealed that 71% of the LP and GP attendees agreed that ESG issues could influence exits. In a November 2009 survey of GPs undertaken by the Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCAL), 68% of the respondents agreed that environmental, social and governance ESG issues can impact sales of portfolio companies.
